Pioneer Dual Axis Globe

The Pioneer is a kids globe that is exceptional for educational value and aesthetic appeal. The desk globe ball is 30 cm (12”) is ideal for home, school or office use and is one of our best-selling blue ocean globes.

The globe itself is part of the World Nation series from Replogle World Globes. The map shows up-to-date cartography by Kevin M Dzurny, and has clear political boundaries with over 4,000 place names. The raised relief feature reveals the world's main mountain ranges in a tactile way, whilst the gyromatic movement of the Pioneer allows the globe to be rotated on 2 axes - up and down as well as around the equator. The unique gyromatic design allows the globe to be positioned at any angle for ease of viewing. The base and graduated full meridian are made of sturdy metal with a gold painted finish.

This desktop globe is made using traditional techniques with recycled and recyclable materials. It comes fully assembled.
