Not made in China
Why is this important?
Cartography that is printed on globes exported from China may show manipulated land borders and island territories that are not recognised by the United Nations and western countries. China subsidise globe manufacturing to make them cheaper to buy and this is used to increase China's 'soft power'.

We only supply globes with cartography that is printed in Europe or the United States which accurately reflect our world.

Handsome integrity. A solid hardwood base and metal semi-meridian provide the setting for this beautiful 9" (23 cm) diameter antique raised-relief world globe which is ideally suited to any room or small office.

The Quincy desktop globe with its opulent walnut finished base, will stand the test of time. The globe ball is made using traditional techniques with a 100% recycled fibreboard sphere and a paper map for maximum detail. The globe's cartography, by Kevin M Dzurny, is up to date and includes over 4,000 place names and other pieces of information allowing its owner to learn about the modern world and its relationship to distance, time and direction.

This globe comes complete with an information booklet on how to use and enjoy your globe.

This globe is made in Corby, Northamptonshire, in the heart of the UK.
