The Lume 33cm illuminated globe features a sturdy and robust wooden base with aluminium stem and fittings ensuring that this traditional globe will enhance any room or office setting. This globe is easily turned without any instability and features a clear plastic cable, giving a premium appearance and feel.

This unique globe features modern cartography with country names in their own languages, a feature only available on Zoffoli globes. Over 2,000 place names are included. The text is clear and each country is given a different colour to accentuate the political mapping. 

The truly special thing about the Lume globe is that the map is hand-laid paper without a plastic coating. This allows the paper fibres to be seen when lit, as if light were shining through a newspaper or comicbook. Even when lit, the Lume keeps the appearance of a traditional globe.
